At the Kuna Stampede Rodeo, we believe rodeo is for everyone. One of our favorite KSR traditions is the Special Needs Rodeo—an event dedicated to welcoming individuals with special needs into the heart of rodeo magic. We're excited to announce the Special Needs Rodeo will be returning this year, and we're ready to start signing up participants!
Entries will be limited to the first 50 to sign up. Registration interest is open to all ages and abilities. Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors and volunteers, this event will be free of charge. Participants will have the opportunity to complete the barrel course on stick horse, rope a dummy steer, pet goats, and ride the mechanical bull. Prizes will be awarded to all, including a buckle for keeps! (Food and beverage will be available for purchase from Buckaroo Brew and Cowboy Breakfast.)
When: Saturday, Aug 30th, 2025
Time: 9:00am - 11:00am
Where: Crooked8 Events 1882 E. King Rd. Kuna, ID 83634

What makes this event so special isn’t just the activities—it’s the joy, the high-fives, the community and heart, and the unforgettable moments shared by everyone involved. Our amazing volunteers, rodeo queens, and local partners are looking forward to spending a morning filled with smiles, laughter, and rodeo-inspired fun with participants and caregivers. For some, it’s their very first rodeo. For others, it’s a tradition they look forward to year after year. For all of us at Kuna Stampede, it’s one of the most meaningful ways we get to live out our motto: Big Rodeo, Small Town Heart.
Thank you to all who help make the Special Needs Rodeo possible—you’re the reason this community shines so bright.
